Vetagro is an international company specialized in microencapsulated feed additives and is now looking for a Poultry Sales Manager in the USA.
This person will be responsible for sales and marketing activities nationwide; will develop and implement a sales plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base nationwide. He/She will work within the sales and technical teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.

Job description and major responsibilities:
1. Business intelligence, prepare annual sales, marketing strategies and budgets.
2. Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
3. Sustain relationship with key accounts of broiler, turkey and laying hen integrators by making periodic visits nationwide in the US with collaborating technical/R&D associates.
4. Visit clients' poultry farms to collect samples, collaborate with R&D and quality control teams in preparation of and the analysis of samples and collection of data.
5. Prepare and present technical presentations for existing and potential customers.

1. Master Degree in Poultry Science, Animal Nutrition, or Animal Science or DVM.
2. 3+ years' experience working sales in feed additive industry.
3. 3+ years of experience in poultry live production is preferred.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and possibly Spanish.
5. Ability to present technical data to small and large audiences.
6. Excellent customer service skills; have the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
7. Proficient with MS Office software products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
8. Ability to understand the Customers, Product Development and Client Relationships.

Supervisory Responsibility: No
Travel: 50 % or greater including possible travel to international locations
