Our New Chapter Begins in Easton, Maryland | US

We are delighted to announce that on October 7, 2026, we inaugurated our first U.S. manufacturing facility in Easton, Maryland. It is a milestone we had envisioned for a long time, and today it has finally become a reality.

The new plant, dedicated to production and distribution, covers approximately 40,000 square feet (3,700 square meters) within the Mistletoe Hall Business Park, on a 14-acre (5.6-hectare) site. This facility will allow us to be even closer to our customers in North America and to keep growing in international markets.

We wanted to celebrate this day in the way that best reflects who we are: starting from science. Ahead of the ceremony, we hosted the seminar “Boarding for the Future: Vetagro’s Route toward Global Innovation,” together with Andrea Rosati (EAAP), Mike Van Amburgh (Cornell University), Brian Aldridge (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign), Francesc Molist (Schothorst Feed Research), and Todd Thurman (Swine Insights International). Thank you to each of them for sharing their ideas and knowledge with us.

It was also an honor to welcome representatives of Italian and American institutions: Maryland State Senator Johnny Mautz, Consul General of Italy in Philadelphia Nico Frandi, Talbot County Council Member Keasha Haythe, and Easton Mayor Megan Cook. Their presence, and the warmth with which the Easton community welcomed us, made us feel at home right away.

“We are proud to open this new chapter right here in Easton,” said our CEO Andrea Piva. “Easton is not a finish line, but a new starting line,” added our COO Ester Grilli.

But our biggest thank-you goes to all our colleagues who worked with passion, dedication, and a great deal of patience to make this day possible. Behind every square foot of this facility are your ideas, your hours of work, and your belief in this project. This beautiful and memorable day belongs, above all, to you.

The journey continues, and we can’t wait to write the next chapters together.
