Fifteen years ago, the first EFSA authorization of AviPlus® marked the beginning of something entirely new. It was not just a product approval, but the arrival of a new mindset: one that transformed animal nutrition and our understanding of performance, resilience, and gut health across species.
AviPlus® was born with a simple but powerful intuition: the performance of an animal is not driven by a single factor, but by the complex interaction between intestinal integrity, microbial balance, immunity, nutrient absorption, and the ability to cope with day-to-day farm stressors. And what set AviPlus® apart was the way it combined botanicals and organic acids, shielding them in a lipid matrix so they could reach the intestine intact and work in synergy exactly where needed.
What started with weaned piglets quickly expanded to poultry, demonstrating clear improvements in feed efficiency, growth consistency, gut morphology and immune modulation. The same concept was then engineered for ruminants, where protecting bioactive compounds from rumen degradation proved essential to support milk performance, especially under stressful conditions. More recently, the product line evolved again for aquaculture (fish and shrimps) where AviPlus® has consistently shown its ability to reinforce intestinal integrity, enhance immune readiness, improve growth, and reduce mortality in challenging environments.

And long before these concepts became industry priorities, AviPlus® was already putting them into practice, quietly shaping a new way of supporting performance from within.
These pillars are now also the foundation of sustainability and antibiotic-reduction strategies worldwide, making AviPlus® a fundamental tool to achieve performance and environmental responsibility.
And the most exciting part?
